Regrets

Sometimes we wish we had not said those harsh words to our friend, made that spur of the moment purchase, or continued to pull the lever on the slot machine. Regardless the reason, we all have regrets. Some are big and some are small. Some we learn from and some we continue to make.

Christmas Miracle

What better time to have a miracle than during the Christmas holidays. For some, the only way they can provide a Christmas to their family is by a miracle. While we could use a lot more miracles in our world today we take comfort in the ones that we have experienced, have been told, have read about, or even witnessed. Miracles reassure us that there is good in the world, and reminds us there is hope.

Do you have certain Christmas movies that you must watch during the Christmas holidays? If so, you are like millions of people that have to watch certain Christmas movies in order for the Christmas holidays to be complete. Did your favorite movie make the top ten list? Christmas Scam

Christmas is such a great time of year but beware, there is a scam right around the corner. Scams can be on social media, charities, phone calls, or the internet. You can’t even trust your money to be spent on something legit. Yes, Christmas is the season to spend time with family and to help others in need. But scams are something totally different, and the people that take part in that should be held accountable. Listen in as Scotty Ray and Terri discuss scams and how to be on the lookout for them.

America Angry All The Time

Enjoying the holidays is always so much fun but getting to your destination can be anything but fun. It can be down right dangerous. Air and road rage is on the rise. People seem to have less and less patience. As a result more and more people are in harms way when traveling, especially when airports and interstates are congested. Hopefully you are not one of millions that will be traveling over the holidays, but if you are you need to travel with caution. You never know who will be sitting next to you on a plane or at the next stop light.

Now You See Me

There are millions of Americans in hiding from law enforcement every year. Some which will never be caught or even pursued. Some remain elusive today and have been in hiding, perhaps in plain sight. Listen in as we talk about one person that never saw the inside of a jail cell after robbing a bank but later became a golf pro, and a luxury car salesman right up until his death. The American Veteran

Did you celebrate a veteran on Veterans Day? If you were like millions of Americans you were either working or enjoyed a day off doing something around the house or your favorite place. Most of us can’t imagine the sacrifices others have made for us, our families, or our country, unless you are a service member, or have a service member in your family. Will there ever be a day when we no longer celebrate this day? We no longer recognize those that paid the ultimate price, have served, or are serving today?

The Smart Phone

You’ve been in a restaurant and looked over at the next table only to see a couple not talking to each other as they wait on the meal, but instead on their phones deep in a trance? Or what about during a movie to find your spouse or your kids more interested in their phones than the movie you had planned to watch together? Is this bad? Are we headed in the wrong direction? Don’t get me wrong there are so many things that are beneficial from owning a phone in today’s world. Technology is a great thing. Right? We could put our phones down anytime we wanted to? Couldn’t we?
